Sweet sisters, let’s be friends. Why? because I want you in my life. Yes, you! I have been through a lot. I have struggled with self-worth, addiction, self-harm and suicidal struggles and much more and what I have learned is two things, one we ALL NEED JESUS and two we NEED EACH OTHER. That is why Jesus gave us each other. As I have had the privilege to go around and meet girls and youth, I have seen the goodness and power in your souls. Friends the world needs you! And we need each other. I know what it’s like to need support, love and a lot more Jesus! It is my hope that as we spend time together through my podcast, instagram and videos you will find hope, healing and belonging. You are amazing. You are needed. You are never too far from His grave or His love. I create these recourses for FREE because I care about YOU!! I want to be here for you. So let’s be friends because I need more amazing people like you in my life.

Welcome Sisters and Friends

Speaking Reviews

WARD GIRLS CAMP

We recently had Lyissa Anderson speak at our summer Girls Camp to 38 young women between the ages of 11 and 18 years old. She shared so eloquently her experience of coming to know Jesus in a very personal way. She shared how she has allowed Him to do what He does best and heal all the broken pieces of her heart. I don’t know that I have ever heard someone her age testify of Christ as powerfully as she did. I know my heart was changed by the spirit I felt… and I know all of the girls and youth leaders who attended felt the same way. Lyissa allowed us to walk a small piece of her path with her and come to know our Savior more deeply. I will be forever grateful for the impact that she made on all of us.

YOUTH FIRESIDE

We had the privilege of having Lyissa come and speak to the Young Men and Young Women. At first I was surprised someone so young had been recommended to speak. However, after watching her touch the hearts of the youth I was so grateful we had listened to the prompting to have her come. Her message touched on addiction, self harm, crisis of faith and typical teen struggles. I didn’t realize how needed this was for our youth until she came and shared. I now realize many of the youth are struggling with these more than I realized. I admired her ability to touch on such difficult subjects in such an uplifting and inspiring way. Her focus on the atonement of Jesus Christ in our lives was powerful. Many youth and adults were visibly touched. Many parents commented after how thankful they were for the knowledge she shared. We would definitely have Lyissa come back and speak again.

YOUNG WOMAN ACTIVITY

The girls in our ward have been going through really hard things. I didn’t know what to do and had been praying for help. I heard about Lyissa from another leader and we decided to have her come and speak to our young women for one of our weekly activities. She shared her dolphin message with us and it was exactly what the girls needed. I was so thankful for her strong testimony of Jesus Christ. She helped our girls feel the love of our Savior. I was very touched that Lyissa even brought the dolpin charms to give to each girl. Her heart truly is in the right place. Her message was so touching even the leaders wanted to make charms for their own daughters and granddaughters to share Lyissa’s message of love with them. I was so thankful for Lyissa and her willingness to come and speak with the girls in our ward.

YOUTH SESSION STAKE CONFERENCE

This girls testimony of Jesus is one of the most powerful messages I have heard from a youth of her age--EVER. Wow! If you have a teen I encourage you to have them listen to her talk (it's at about 10 minutes in). Her testimony of the hope, power and joy that can come through Christ is beautiful. Also, check out the song she references in her talk, "My Jesus". So powerful! Grateful for good Jesus Moments like tonight.

PARENT TRAINING (A Plea to Parents)

Thank you for coming to speak with us Sister Anderson. Wow, the information and knowledge you shared was so important! I wish every Ward, Stake or Home had you come and share it with them. What you shared is going to change how I parent. I feel so much more aware and empowered. Thanks for sharing your time with us. I wish I had learned this when my kids were little but am so glad I at least have it now. May God bless the work you are doing and reach as many people as possible.

ADDITIONAL REVIEWS

Her talk was so amazing! I had to keep checking to make sure she was just a youth, because she is definitely beyond her years!

Sister Barton

I loved the power and conviction of her testimony. Unshakable faith, but it was through her trials and struggles that she gained that unshakable faith.

Sister Lewis

Our teens liked how this young lady used so many relatable scriptures. We also loved how many times she used Jesus’ name. All of us can use more Jesus in our lives!

Sister Nogueria

Oh it was so so good. I kept thinking “this is a youth?”

Sister Brown

She is a great speaker, I can see why she is asked to speak a lot. Tell her thank you for sharing, she will bless so many lives including her own.

HEBER VALLEY CAMP (From a Sister who met her while speaking)

I met Lyissa at Heber Valley Camp this week. She was and is the definition of classy. We had a long conversation, which might sound unusual for a 17 year old and an old 67 year old missionary. She radiated with the light of Christ on her face and in her heart. I was up there to make her feel special and hopefully to help her feel the Saviors love for her. Instead, she was the one who made me feel special and taught me about Christ. I instantly fell in love with her and can’t wait to see what she becomes as she grows in years and experience. I’m so blessed to know her and hope we’ll be eternal friends.
